YES! I hate those stores that require an authorization code in order to return an item. I must truly love an item if I am buying from a retailer with that poilcy.

I attend a formal or semi formal event at least once a year, sometimes more. I am always on the lookout for a sale so I am not scrambling to put a look together. I look at after holiday sale for this.
I like to keep certain baisc like easy flow dresses in the summer and casual slacks in the winter. These items are things I always look for on sale.
Things I use multiples of I buy in bulk, like black tights for the winter. I keep trendy/faddish things to a minimum.

I just did a blog post today about how I buy clothes whenever they fit, sometimes even when I don't really like them, because there is so little out there for plus sized women: http://www.plusbeautyblog.com/... Things are a little better with online shopping, but the hassle of returns and with some brands the high cost of shipping to Australia, means that there's a long way to go. At least we're heading in the right direction.

I'm definitely ready for it! While I'm enjoying Eloquii's closeout sale prices, I'm really disappointed that they're being shut down because they were one of the few brands that perfectly fit my style aesthetic. Modcloth has a lot of great items but 90% of them run small. I spent about 90 minutes on their site last night scrolling through all their plus size offerings, and while they are supposed to go up to a 3X/22-24, most of them run 1-2 sizes small. Still- hear, hear to plus size fashion going mainstream!

I didn't see The Avenue. was there a reason you left them out. I like the Avenue as an option because they co up to a size 30/32.

A never hear anything about JC Penny. While they are having some "financial difficulties," their plus size section is not too bad for the price and I have purchase a few quality things from them.

Igigi only cuts for one body type, and it's DEFINITELY not mine. I'm not a plus size brick house! No tiny waist here! Nothing for me to buy there. Nice styles, but they are all very waist-conscious, and mine is not one to call attention to!

My husband and I talk about how brands are losing out on so much money by not offering plus sizes. It literally makes no since to me I mean it's been obvious for years! I'm glad to see more brands offering them now and seeing more curvy women on magazine covers! I thought the H&M add was huge when they released it with no plus size tag just like BAM there you go it was AWESOME! I personally can't wait to see what the future holds. Nice article!
